Yes there are time limits to appeal and this time constraint starts from the date printed on your decision notice. You have 6 months from the date of decision for a Full planning application, 6 months for an Outline planning application and 12 weeks for a Householder planning application. Certificate applications currently have no time restrictions for appeal but this may change in time. Please contact us if you are unsure as to how long you have to appeal.

Depending on the reasons for refusal you may be able to appeal to the Secretary of State. Please contact us and book into our weekly client surgery where we provide FREE planning advice. We can advise you whether an appeal is appropriate or whether you should seek to submit a revised planning application.
