Smart Planning have successfully obtained planning permission for a residential development of three detached dwellings in the village of Wickham Bishops, in the District of Maldon in Essex.
The proposal consists of two 3-bedroom and one 4-bedroom properties, with detached garages and amenity space. The site currently comprises of a large detached dwelling with a large private garden. The vastness of the site warrants itself to additional residential development.
The resultant scheme was carefully considered, being sympathetic to the existing neighbouring developments, on site tree preservation orders and the character of the area. The application was supported by the Parish Council and Local Highway Authority.
Maldon District Council concluded that the proposal would be acceptable in terms of its impact on the character of the area and the streetscene and that the amenities of neighbouring occupants would not be compromised.
