RTPI success for our consultant Alicia

A huge congratulations to our planning consultant Alicia Lai who is celebrating becoming a full member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).

Upon receiving the news, Alicia said “I am delighted to have been elected as a Chartered Town Planner of the Royal Town Planning Institute, having successfully demonstrated my competence as a professional planner. I look forward to continuing my career as a Chartered Member of the RTPI and reflecting my professionalism and expertise in planning”.

We wish Alicia continued success at Smart Planning, building on the many positive outcomes she has already achieved at the company.

Alicia initially started at Smart Planning in January 2017 after graduating with her Master of Town Planning degree at Newcastle University in 2016.

The RTPI is Europe’s largest professional body for planners, with 25,000 members worldwide working in public, private, charitable and education sectors. As well as promoting spatial planning, the Institute sets high standards for planning education and is the only body in the UK that accredits Chartered Town Planners.
